Not sure if I'm on the right page(as such).  Looking to take mum in law to Kale Park for her birthday. Can anybody tell me what its like, food, value for money etc, best time to go, do we need to book?
Heard that the views are great but not much else. Thanks

The food is as good as the views, very classy  :) Not excessively expensive either.

Thanks scunner, sorry I just noticed there was another thread about Kale Park, albeit xmas dinners/cavery.  Do they do traditional turkish food? or are they trying to cater for the english? if you get my meaning.  We are after traditional turkish.

Kale Park is our favourite for lunch, we have only been a couple of times for dinner.  The views are the best, the food has always been good.  They do a mixture of European and Turkish Food.  As far we are concerned they do the best chicken caesar salad we have ever tasted and it's such a big bowl full it's enough for lunch.
If you are going for dinner in the evening also try and get there for lunch one day, as the day time views are not to be missed.  It's also possible just to go for a drink.   There is always a mixture of customers, we have seen a lot of Turkish people eating there which we always think is a good sign.

Kept meaning to go - but never got around to it - is there any way of getting up there on a dolmus?

Ian (not wishing to spend on taxis and thinking it might be too steep for my proposed 125cc scooter purchase!!!  :) )

Dolmus Yok!.......If we can walk up there a young stripling like you
(striplings including Gill) should have no problem and then carry on walking into Kaya if it is not too hot!!!!! I will excuse you for not carrying on the walk then up to Hisaronu.....you would need an Efes or two in Kaya to manage that:D 8)

Only if you hijack one.  ;)

It's not on a dolmus route. :D
