St. George's Day at Bostans
« on: April 20, 2010, 09:53:45 AM »
Bostans Restaurant will be holding an all day and evening St. George's Day event on this Friday 23rd April, with all proceeds going to Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion.
It will start at 12 noon with The Italian Job on the big screen, followed by the Dam Busters, 1966 world cup, 2003 world rugby etc. Calis Guitar club will be playing, there will be communal singing in the evening (Jerusalem, Abide with me etc) and be followed till late by Rock classics from the past.
There will also be a raffle and a special English menu.
A board with all events and times will be outside the restaurant from Thursday. Please come and support a very good cause, preferably in England colours!

That sounds a brilliant day out and what a fantastic idea. Makes a change for us to celebrate St. Georges day and it makes a change to do something to help our Heroes. I don't know who's idea it was but it is certainly a good one. It deserves to do well!!

What an excellent idea.  Sounds like it will be a great day and supporting two very worthwhile causes.

Only wish we could be there to join in! :(
