My family is coming to Chalis for the first time in august to celebrate my other halfs 60th. We have hired a villa but for his bithday I would like to book a friendly restaurant for 13 of us that has good food and is child friendly.  Would also like them to sort out a birthday cake if possible. Can anyone recommend one please.

You'll be baffled with all the responses angie58, so you'd be better stating what kind of food is your preference which might narrow it down.

Child friendly is standard in Calis and they'll all be happy to sort out a Birthday cake for you, which they will bring out as a surprise probably with sparklers, and almost definitely a booming rendition of "Happy Birthday to You", ensuring huge happiness and embarrassment to the lucky other half  :)

I would like to recommend The Brothers Bar for one of the friendliest bars in Calis 8), they also do excellent food :) and Bal the owner has a little lad of his own that spends a bit of time there during the day so they are very child friendly :)

perfict! ;)

The Nil Bar is very child friendly and they do a very good party including cake candles etc. Just tell Angel what you need. They will decorate up for you no problem.
