The Pines
« on: September 03, 2012, 20:38:02 PM »
The missus and I went to "The Pines" tonight and we both ordered peppered steak. Sue wanted medium and me very rare. We were allowed to tailor make our meals to steak, chips, mushrooms and fried onions. We both agreed that it was the best meal of the holiday so far. The steaks were of prime quality and cooked to perfection. Now you might ask where is "The Pines". Well it is the old Bati Cafe in it's new form. I can add that the owner is to make structural improvements at the end of the season and to be completed before Christmas. Good luck Tuna.

Thank You Ken ,
We try Our best always .We start the new image .with the new name .We have a selected A la carte Menu as You know .This new simple name ,takes the image off ,such as We just do Indian food ,which is not drive Us the right position .
With the new decoration inside .after the season ,We will have enough room for for winter ,We will still have the pool table ,but at top covered  back garden with the comfortable large chairs .
More like a restaurant ,Ken .
Thank You again ,for Your nice wishes .

We ate here a few times while in Calis recently, and I found the pasta dishes to be some of the best I've ever eaten. Service was brilliant too, with friendly and helpful waiter. Would definitely recommend the restaurant.
