We actually only went there because we met Ahmet on the dolmus and he invited us to try it. We used to go when Marc ran it and it was very good indeed then. Ahmet had a young lad doing the drinks and I had to tell him (Ahmet) that his junior barman was very mean with the measures. Since then I am convinced Ahmet is trying to kill me with vodka poisoning. We have also introduced many CBFers to the Meeting Point, with no complaints to date.

A highlight of Meeting Point history was discussed in the CBF chatroom last night in fact. CBF member Jackie Knight's relative in full white Elvis suit doing a turn for nothing more than the kudos. I am the world's greatest hater of hotel and restaurant entertainment in all it's forms, but we will never forget this sensational performance. Ahmet lost every napkin from every holder on every table that night, there were tears everywhere.
