Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum so not to sure on the rules etc ?

I could not believe it when I opened this thread on restaurant reviews to see it was about Indian food.

We have a villa in Kalkan, but love to visit Calis every now and again for a change, we tried the local Indian restaurant ( sorry cant remember the name ) and did not think it was to bad but def not authentic indian food, albeit, great service and very good value.

F Y I....a new Indian restaurant has just opened in Kalkan it's a fully authentic Indian from the chef who is from Pakistan, and with the proper indian spices and tandoori oven that was all imported from England. Well worth a visit if you want a REAL curry.

Love it, Authentic Indian food cooked by a Pakistani in an English Tandoori oven. Very Authentic.  ;)

Just about as authentic as it gets bewva, that's what you get at / from your local Indian in the UK !
