Red Island HELP!!
« on: May 30, 2013, 12:41:40 PM »
Hi hope you are all well?

My father lives in Calis but is back in the uk at the moment.
I am due to get married in turkey in 2014 on red island staying at letiona.
I know it always changes hands but does anyone know if it has re opened this year?
Getting a little stressed about it?

Thank you

It closed a while ago and we heard the staff where now working  in a restaurant in Olu. However, we where talking to a Turkish guy today who was telling us he shark fishes around red island. We told him we had visited the restaurant a few years ago before it closed and he said it was open again.

After being ripped off last july by the so called owners of the island my daughtrs wedding due to be held on red island on 13 aug  2 days before we were told by mete ay that the island was closed and there would be no wedding on the island having paid £450 deposit we were told the owners had opened another place in olu and we had no chance of any refund so please be aware you are in danger of being ripped off
The guy who was organising the wedding and acting for the so called owners is a turk using the name LEON  i saw him with a laptop apparantly  working from meeting point bar DO NOT TRUST HIM .

I think after what Psteven has told you I would look no further. There are plenty of well established and well spoken of wedding venues and organisers. Start looking around, you have lots of time.
