I popped into the Finet shop on Saturday.  Spoke to the two lads - using their poor english and my even poorer Turkish, supported by Google translate, and was impressed by their responses to my questions, and how flexible they are trying to be.  Plus of course their Skyfibernet beating prices, both installation on ongoing monthly fee.

So unless I hear something different or bad about Finet in the next couple of weeks, when my current TTNET contract with notice expires, I'll be changing from my unreliable 16mb TTNET service at 51tl a month plus no need for the rarely used phone line at 29tl a month, to probably a 4 meg finet service that should be OK for HD TV, and if it is not then I might upgrade.

Hi I use Sky Fibre Net and it runs at a minimum of 8 megs, had no problems with it but it costs a bit more though.

If its any reassurance, I know a few folks using the line of sight system with a 4Mbs connection who are happily watching HD movies etc via Kodi.

Thanks but we use an android box already.
The issue is the iplayer apps.

OK then why not use a smart DNS service, then change your DNS settings in the android Wifi Advanced settings?  In which case the only issue might be the cost of the DNS service at £2-3 a month, but you then have all your TV based services on a single device.

We do...we pay 10tl to skyfibrenet for it.
Its either pixelated or buffering and have to resort to using the vpn to get it to work.
Our speed is high but its just not stable.
