staying in Ciftlik
« on: April 10, 2014, 14:03:25 PM »
Hi just got back from a great week house hunting in the Calis area, we loved an apt in the middle of Cftlik village the most, we were aware of Ciftlik before but hadn't really thought of buying there. Any info that anyone can give about owning a holiday home there would be great, airport transfers, dolmus, restaurants etc. We are going back in June for 11 days and would like to stay in, or close to the village but can't seem to find any holiday lets of any description......any ideas ??? ( not a big villa as there is only 2 of us, small villa is ok ) hope its ok to ask that in this section, have looked in the Private rentals with no sucess. thanks

There are a few down the road in Koca Calis. We have a place there but don't rent it out. Takes us about 15 mins to walk to the village centre but we have bikes = 5 mins. Nearer the sea as well.

I'm sure you will get plenty of offers of accomodation.

Ciftlik itself doesn't have many restaurants. A couplle of local ones (Pide a specialty). It's got a decent supermarket (Mellisa) and the dolmus runs through it very frequently - to Calis and beyond. 40 mins to the airport by car.

We are out in early June so you might see us dining there or shopping  ;)

Mike it's not a good idea to put your email address on a pubic forum, you leave yourself open to spammers and identity thief.   Always best to private email other members with personal information.    ;)
