« on: June 22, 2016, 11:10:38 AM »
Just sold my villa on cicek after many happy years there,i was the first english on site back then as all owners were turkish,i placed a foresale sign up myself and sold within 3 weeks. It seems that there is alot of turkish people looking to buy in the area im the 3rd english person to sell this year i feel in a few years time that the site will be all turkish again.I had no problem with my sale and recieved a bankers draft in us dollars.I hope the new turkish owners will love it as much as we did but i felt that it was time to move on.

Congratulations on the successful sale, particularly one that seems to have gone very smoothly.  Interested to know what 'time to move on' will manifest it self as?

Interesting post I recently know of a English couple selling to a Turkish family and all went through quickly perhaps now is the time to take advantage.

We have been told by two Estate Agents in the area that the Turks are buying most of the property now, closely followed by Arab buyers.

Interestingly this is also happening on our complex two apartments within months of each other sold to Turkish buyers, a third sale underway to Turkish buyers and a fourth has been viewed and the couple have been back for a second look...

funny you should say about Arab buyers Jacqui, we were told that Arabs are investing quite heavily in the Fethiye area,  and I'm not overly comfortable with  that to be honest.

We saw lots of Turkish people looking on Saglik last September and a few new families are here.
