Just thought I'd share with you. We've just found an excellent Turkish restaurant here in Brisbane (Australia)!!!! You don't know how giddy this has made us (sad I know) but after being here nearly 12 months we were having SERIOUS withdrawalls because we couldn't get any Raki, decent Turkish food or stuff like Apple tea and darlan soap. Then to the rescue came MADO an excellent restaurant in Little Stanley Street on South Bank. Not only is the food absolutely brilliant I can also get stuff like lemon cologne, cherry jam, proper turkish coffee and loads of other stuff.
The guy who owns it is from Istanbul and says if there is anything we want buying in he will be only too happy to do it. I think I've died and gone to heaven lol. And to top it all our local bottle shop has just started selling Yeni so we are well sorted.

Next time in Brisbane we'll call in for a good Turkish meal!

2010 I think - won't be long now lol.
