All new members are VERY welcome on CBF and we hope you will enjoy taking part and helping others as well as getting help with questions you may have. One important point is
IF YOUR FIRST POST IS:
AN ADVERT FOR AN EVENT
AN ADVERT FOR YOUR BUSINESS
SOMETHING YOU WANT TO SELL
TO LET PEOPLE KNOW YOUR VILLA OR APARTMENT IS AVAILABLE
SELF PROMOTION
YOU SIGNED UP TO SLAG SOMEONE/SOMETHING OFF
IT WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY
You need to introduce yourself, help others by answering their questions or posting useful information before being allowed to use CBF as your own little Turkey based version of Loot.
Thanks.

Please don't type in capitals ;)
In fairness just went to the capital offender - TURKISH TUTOR
See what you mean !!!
-
...unless you are shouting. I've written it so many times, I AM lol
-
TURKISH TUTOR, another "I have nothing to offer this forum apart from the things I charge for" member
-
Bumped back into active topics for the benefit of ANOTHER new member who thinks this is a charity
-
And again today.
Can I also make something 100% clear. We are not desperate for new members. We love to see all the new members joining the 6000+ we have already but only those who come to join in. For information
If you register with a "real name" that sounds made up, coupled with a hotmail address that sounds like it is 5 minutes old, or you try to avoid giving a real name, or you think it is witty to put your location as Congo while your IP shows as London, we will assume you are purposely seeking to conceal something. Experience shows that people that try to hide their details are here to cause problems. If you attempt to do it, you will not be joining CBF - your registration goes in a pile called "declined and deleted".
To all the people genuinely interested in joining, we look forward to it :)

Hi all
i have just joined the CBF. is that alright if we use our company name like i have done or do i need to swift?
-
Hi Onur
No it is fine. We can't pretend people don't work for companies that have things to sell, what we want is people to come here to help each other and share information, not only come here because they think they can catch customers.
You are very welcome here.
-
Thanks Scunner.
i do appriciate it.
-
hi my name is theresa Im from buxton derbyshire Im a new member checking in
-
Hi Theresa and all members, I have just rejoined the forum. My name is Sally and my husband is Roger. A lot of people in Uzumlu already know us, we have been trying to leave the UK permanently for Turkey for a couple of years now. But the UK is still hanging on to us! We had a great time in Uzumlu during Christmas and New Year, now saving to come back.
-
Chinapairs and southeygirl, if you want to introduce yourselves properly please start a new topic for yourselves ;)

-
hi all, am new to this forum, myself and my family went to Calis beach last year for a wek and enjoyed it so much we are coming back this year the end of May.
-
Hi RobPricilla and suzie c - welcome to CBF. You can start a new topic in member introductions if you like so everyone can see you have arrived :)
-
hello thank you for keeping all informed, have been prompted to join one particular debate re dolphins but find the other topics interesting and informative
-
Welcome Judith
I shall lock this topic as it appears to have become the thread of choice for new members to say hello. New members are invited to say a big hello by starting a new topic in the New Member Introductions section which can be found here: http://www.calis-beach.co.uk/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=16
-
Once again, can I repeat myself and confirm that your genuine christian name and surname are required when you register. Mickey Mouse is about as hilarious the 15th time as the member I've just locked "Ivor Biggun". Side splitting to children and anyone who hasn't heard the name 1000 times in their life so far.
Experience suggests that those who try to hide their identity are often doing it for a reason, and it is nearly always because they plan to cause trouble or mischief.
Even if there is no ulterior motive, you still need to give your real name, and perhaps get a sense of humour transplant.

Thanks. This isn't a forum you can just sign up to because you want to write bad things about something.
-
Bringing this to the top again, as I do every time someone signs up with something to sell or advertise that I have to delete. Please read the opening post in this topic.
Thanks
-
BUMP
For our latest "I have nothing to contribute to CBF other than things that might make me money" member.
-
...and again :-\
-
PLEASE will new members read this topic and stop advertising in their first post! This is not Loot!!! How many times!!!
All adverts are deleted, unless you have a history of helping people on the forum not for personal gain, but just because you can. :(
-
Bumped again for newer members to read and understand. Thanks.
-
Bumped for new members to see

Needed again, bumped up...
You can offer your property for rent IF you are a contributing member of the forum, with pleasure. If you have contributed NOTHING, you will not be allowed to and your post will be deleted. It's called "fair".
