anyone reading 50 shades of grey if so what do you think of it :-[
-
Got a very tatty copy from friend Toni after reading all about it on Dunbar Chat Box.Thought it was about a greying 50 year old.......oh boy,how could I be so wrong!Reminds me of Brigit Jones Diary but much raunchier!A Lady Chaterlys Lover for the 21st century.
-
It's not exactly a literary masterpiece but cant not finish it can I?
If its good enough for Anne Summers then it's good enough for me.
I'm sick of her saying 'oh my' though. With all that's going on I would have thought she would have had something more descriptive to say!

Mrs KKOB was in the bedroom, reading her new book when I suddenly heard "Oooh baby, yeah. Aaah, milk. Oooh two sugars baby, yeah. Give it to me"
She was reading 'Fifty Shades of Earl Grey'
;)
-
And there's me thinking Mr. Grey was a character from Reservoir Dogs !! :o ;) :D
-
can't find it on the wirral one of the girls at work was raving about it being p0rn omg
-
Reading this on my kindle at the moment as are everyone at work! We all come in each morning "where have you got to??" with big smirks on our faces!
-

Some kind person sent me a kindle copy so I thought I'd have a read to see what all the fuss was about.
It's OK so far but not the most interesting book I've read and certainly not a masterpiece. I'll probably struggle on to the end though.
Much prefer Peter James' books.

Hi Highlander, it wasn't from your Facebook page but from a friend of mine. I have noticed it has been shared over 1500 times though.
-
Yeah... but not a patch on my love life... ;D
-
You'll perhaps forgive my ignoramce Tinearthes but if another member clicks do they go to thier page and not mine. ;D
-
When I click, this is what I see (http://img.tapatalk.com/5c1843ef-45c7-2fe3.jpg)

Thanks for that Steve and for your email.
I'm afraid you will have to forgive my ignorance on computer matters (now and in the future :().
Thanks again ;D.

I downloaded all 3 onto my kindle in readiness for my hols in august but decided to read the first one to make sure I would enjoy the other 2. Am so glad I did cos it was absolutely rubbish, its like a mills n boons love story with some sex thrown in with a guy who is a control freak, a bully and in essence someone who enjoys beating women to get his kicks. Won't be reading the next 2 in any hurry, give me a good murder book any day
-
not read it either yet but have downloaded to my Kindle I am saving it for my summer hols, I just so wish I was the author of this trilogy as I could be pretty minted by now, I reckon it did not take too much thinking up I am sure, this is from someone who has not read the book yet but has the best *** life in the whole world :o : :) :-X :'(
-
I would rather a good who done it, not a who done who!
-
Brenda's just fallen asleep during it - reading the book that is ;D
-
Well, that's okay then ;D ;D ;D
-
ooh don't fancy it now the book that is :)not if "Mr Grey" is a control freak and a bully, wont bother with the other three until I have tried the first one 8)
-

I got the first book yesterday whilst I was in Asda, one young lady who was beside me at the time said it was really good (not a masterpeice writing wise) but a good read if taken for what it was, she also suggested my Husband should read it !!! Then the lady at the till raved over it saying she couldn't put it down and read it twice !! As there are very mixed reviews I will take it to Calis in September and read it round the pool.

-
Got bored with it now and looking for my next Peter James read. Think I'll wait for my hols though as I'm rapidly getting through his books and don't want to read them all too soon.
-
Hı Bought the 3 books and just fınıshed fırst book. I found the read useful (lol) and enjoyed the story too. Can,t waıt to start the next one.
-
Got it today.. might save for my hols in September ;)
-
I hear Fatima Whitbread has also written an erotic novel:
'Fifty Shaves a Day' it's called.
:)
-
The basic story was good but turned into a fairy story spoilt by too much detailed sex which frankly got a bit boring ( look that up in the turkish dictionary but dot the eye). The story would have been better condensed into one book. Although I would like to know how E. L. James did her research.
-
we have all 3 on email if you want them just email me.
