Wow, if it works will be great - love loads of garlic but hate peeling it. ;)
-
Broke me wrist ,then smacked me self in the face with the bowl !! ;) ;)
-
I'm going to try it next time I use garlic :)
-
Yes I have tried it, but with smaller bowls and with less success than the bloke in the video.
-
I've never cooked anything that needs a whole garlic or even close to a whole one :)
-
OMG havent got 2 bowls that size and I think that after all that shake rattle and roll would be knackered lol

Well, once it's peeled you don't have to use it all at once. Put it in a jar full of olive oil and, not only will it keep for ages, but it'll also give you some garlic flavoured oil for cooking or dressings.

Thank you Delia

It did remind me of a video I saw for a single garlic clove peeler - these cost about a quid on those Hong Kong sites like dealxtreeme:

You're welcome Dickh ! ;)

I used an whole head of garlic once to make a garlic dip for a New Years Eve Party, I had misread the recipe, I only needed one clove. Nobody went in for a second dip!!!! And the kisses at midnight were a bit wiffy. :(
