Brilliant.  My Dad used to warn me that all that head banging would give me brain damage.  I am not so sure that he was correct!  ;) ;D ;D ;D

I saw them at a club in Brum and during the break I went in the room behind the stage.
Daltry was in his underpants swigging a bottle of JB whiskey, Keith Moon was out cold on
the floor and someone was tipping water on his face and Townsend was sorting out a
guitar for the second half. He had just smashed his into the ceiling above the stage.

         Happy days.        :)

Still one of the best rock vocalists about. We should organise a "WHO NIGHT" on Lemon 4 sometime. ;D

They were and still are fantastic.. Not quite the same league as The Rolling stones but amazing to watch even now. Love them and Rodger Daltry was one of my first posters on my bedroom wall...

Seventy and still looking good, and still for me the greatest rock singer of all.  Not sure about the voice having held up, but that's not a surprise given the use over the years.  The Who's last LP Endless Wire was excellent (IMHO), but there was lot more vocals by Pete  Townshend.  Lots of great tracks but if you get the chance listen to the title track Endless Wire (Extended Version) if you want to hear both Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend vocals at their best.
