Started off with our walk down the promenade

Lunch in Fethiye at Altin S(h)is(h) - Chicken / Salad / Rice & Chips for 6 lira each   ;)

Lovely pics Ian, only 28 days to go and we will be there, looking forward to seeing you all, notice you had a bargain meal, still looking after the pennies, I'm glad to see!!   ;) love Sheila

Sheila - hi - it will be good to see you both again - I think we are going to have some indifferent weather for a couple of weeks so it should be well out of the way when you arrive   :)

It's in the pedestrianized part of town not far from the cinema & Arty's chippy.
Or walk straight into that part of town from the promenade past the Kultur Centre.

There are a number of places in that block that cater for locals / students and we were pleasantly surprised by the value for money after a neighbor suggested we give it a try :-)

Ian i am trying to place the restaurant you are talking about, is the Kultur centre the big building on the  corner of the harbour near the fish and chip boats, as cant quite make out where you mean, and the food looks great value for money.

Yes - if walking down the promenade from where the Calis Water taxi stops - as the promenade goes to the left carry straight on and it is either the first or second street on the left - nothing fancy but well worth 6 lira :-)

We have eaten there too last year, friendly people and enjoyed our meal, and it looks like they haven't increased their prices.

 You could celebrate there if CITEH win the premiership,that's if the Hammers don't spoil the party  :D
