I have swimming pool water trickling through the wall into our garden from the very corner of a neighbouring property
(A water sample was tested as swimming pool water by Muski, the water people).
Potentially the water could be caused by any one of three surrounding properties as 2 are on a hill above mine.
2 out of 3 of the neighbour deny it is them/their pool that is causing the problem.
Ive had to dig a long trench across my garden to join my own swimming pool soak away and it looks a mess.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and managed to sort it out (who should I be talking to ?) or any idea what the rules are etc.
It would help find out who is the cause of the water in my garden.

Never had the problem as we've never had a pool (thankfully!).
First thoughts are speak to the belediye, this may fall under the zabitas remit. Or you could toddle off to someone like Sule and let her loose...

I'd give the Zabita a try first. If they can't or won't help, take legal advise.
-
If you want your neighbours to hate you forever! Emptying your pool into the street brings the Zabita knocking so I guess this would be their area too.
-
The Zabitas are saying that I have to build a soak away In my garden and I have to pay for it.
Even though I have a letter from Muski to say that the water isnt groundwater.
This doesnt sound right to me :-(
I think "set up" springs to mind, cos its a hotel next door.
p.s. Ive had the house at least 10 years and it is only in the last 2-3 years Ive had this problem.

Time to see a Solicitor, it will probably be cheaper in the long run.

As a site we paid 2200tl in '09 for a soakaway system after the roads were made up a few cms higher than the pathways on site. Before it was installed 2 of the blocks had a moat all winter & now it's completely clear.

It isnt rainwater, it is swimming pool water.

Approach the problem just as you would in England.
You have to find the source and prove it. Until then a solicitor can't do a thing for you. If they write to your neighbours they will just deny it.
Until the source is proved no action can be taken by anyone. What you need is a suitable qualified surveyor to act on you behalf. Once you have a report clearly stating the cause of the problem then action can be taken. If a neighbour is behaving negligently they will be legally required to rectify it.
Spending money now on a solicitor sending out threatening letters based on suppositions, would just be a waste.
Good luck - hope it is sorted soon.
