Title: BBC jumps the gun and announces death of Brian Matthew.

BBC News at 12.00 on Radio 2 announced the death of Brian Matthew, former host of Sounds of the 60s. Subsequent reports say that although he's "critically ill" he's not dead yet.

Shame, I liked that programme he did on a Saturday morning, always listened in the car when I was driving down the coast to Montrose.  He played some great music.
I am sure he must be in his eighties.
