Title: Suitcase Security
Post by: KKOB on May 12, 2017, 20:17:11 PM
A useful video to watch now that more travellers are being required to carry valuable electronic items in their hold baggage.

Good grief - mind you the security case and locks will go away with a deal of your weight allowance   ;)

Granted, but you'll run far less risk of losing valuable items and those hard cases are very light these days. You will most likely be able to put the padlocks on after the case has been weighed.

Good point KKOB...
Especially as more and more travellers are actually weighing & labelling their own cases now!

Lots of hard cases have zips too.

As you can see from the video Jacqui it's not recommending the use of hard cases with zips.

It is difficult to find a hard case that does not have a zip.  However, they do not have places for padlocks, they have a locking system on the top.

I've got a hard case without a zip it's quite big though. Also has a combination lock.
