Been here in Calis last two weeks so had my daily fix 'live'.
We still love this place and will continue to come back. We've got so much information from this forum to help us get the best out of our holidays and hopefully pass a bit onto others too.

We are not (yet!) residents and only spend around a month at our place in total over the year so certainly don't feel qualified enough to be giving wads of advice on everyday life in Calis but, have certainly learned plenty from you lot ready for when we do buy those one-way tickets!!

Fran, was your sunset taken in front of the Sunset apartments on the prom, next to the Letoon? If so I'm looking at that red thing right now! Nearly every morning an old Turkish (I think) man goes down to the beach and has a swim and a lie down in the sun after and he always goes to this pile! I have no idea what's in the pile, whether it's spare clothes or towel or not but it's his and nobody else goes near it. :)Yes that's exactly where I took it from, i thought it might be an inflatable toy but obviously not

I think it would be far better if members who need to carry out vendetta's against other members did so using the
PM or Email facility. This would allow everyone else to enjoy the Forum, and help each other. Two kind, helpful and very generous
members are being vilified and I for one am disgusted.

I read this post a couple if times a little while ago dithering between thinking JohnF was being remarkably pleasant about a difficult member and thinking that JohnF was hinting at something below the surface (which doesn't sound much like him since he is usually outright rude). It didn't cross my mind, not even for an instant, that it was directed against you even though you say it was "perfectly clear". Perhaps I'm simply dense? Or perhaps this could be sorted via PM?
From Colwyn - a friend to both Johns (I hope).
P.S This "just saying" bit really gets on my bloody nerves. Just saying like.

I'll be back in Fethiye May and September next year and hope for a daily dose of CBF until - and way beyond - those dates.
