Post by: gyr on September 05, 2019, 14:09:09 PM: I've just returned from a holiday in Calis and although my Echo dot worked fine I could not get any BBC radio stations. This was the same on my Ipad and Iphone, any ideas why?

Just thinking the BBC may be geo-fenced by Echo (or the BBC) for UK programmes but in any case you should be able to receive BBC world service without difficulty. If you had a VPN router pointed back to an IP address in the UK, that may work for UK programmes.

I have one in the kitchen, lounge and bedroom. They work together or separate. Give music, advice, weather etc. Answer any question. Time your cooking. turn on the light, kettle etc. All totally unnecessary, but great fun. Custom question and answer, to amaze friends is really funny.
