Is it me or does flights seem expensive this year to return. The flight from Bristol in August is around £270 but the return flight is over £1000 do you think it will reduce???

Post by: KKOB on January 12, 2019, 19:23:25 PM: I've just had a look at Thos Cook for flight out on 10th & return on the 24th. Price is £449 return. Seems about right to me. Easy jet for the same dates comes in at just £20 more.

It’s ok saying fly to Gatwick but people want to fly from their local airport. Furthermore, there is NO justification in the price difference. It’s the same if you book a package, Scots get shafted.

booked a couple of months ago now 14th Aug till 3rd Sept aprox £320, was quite pleased with that.

Flights from, say, Bristol and Doncaster are more expensive, because the airlines know that people don’t want to traipse miles to airports, so they know they’ll pay up.

My opinion for what it is worth is people are far too easily offended. Except k**b who wasn’t offended at all and replied with humour.
