FIG under it special needs fund has been asked for money to buy drugs not covered by the patients green card.
A young local person successfully being treated for cancer at Izmir Ege University Hospital needs drugs from England, they are easy to acquire if there is money to buy them. Cost will be 2,600 ytl needed asap.
The green card system is for Turkish citizens not covered by their, or a family member's employment, i.e. rather poor.
FIG always confirms the case is genuine, by seeing records doctors letters etc. and pays the money direct.
