Charity Night at Roca Restaurant
« on: October 29, 2009, 15:22:07 PM »
No apologies for posting this twice as it is such a big gesture :D

The new owners of Roca Restaurant in Calis are planning to hold monthly charity meals throughout the winter and donate nearly all of the proceeds to the Calis Carnival charity.

Fehmi and Tulin Erol, who have lived for many years in Sweden, took over the restaurant opposite Calis Sunday Market several months ago and in a short space of time have established themselves as one of most popular restaurants in Calis

Tulin who has recently joined the Calis Carnival committee wants to do her bit to raise money for the Carnival charity, helping disadvantaged children in the Calis/Fethiye area, and has generously offered to hold monthly charity night meals at the restaurant with all proceeds, except the staff wages, going directly to the Carnival charity.

The first charity night meal will take place on Wednesday 18 November and guests are asked to arrive between 6.30 and 7.00 pm. For the special price of 20 TL guests can choose from either a starter of deep fried borek with cheese filling and a main course of Turkish mixed grill to include beef steak, chicken, lamb chop and meatballs with rice and chips or the main course and a dessert of the famous Roca special scribble chocolate cake with ice cream. The menu price for 2 courses would normally be 25 lira but if guests would like all three courses it will still only cost 25 TL.

As indoor space is limited bookings are required. Please contact me through the forum or ring 0535 8554919 or 0536 3739520. All tickets booked will be entered into a raffle for at least a bottle of wine and more.

A big thanks to Tulin and Fehmi for their generosity and support :D
