whats the best mobile to use in turkey

I am viewing properties in fethiye area next week and need to make lots of calls to agents etc, what is the cheapest mobile to buy or network to use as my english phone charges me roaming,connection and call charges. thankyou.:D

Go into 1 of the turkcell shops or big supermarkets and buy a cheap moby with a pay as you go sim.
Phone will probably be about £30 and sim about £10. just top up as you need it. If you dont top up for 6 mths then it gets cut off (normally).

if your mobiles unlocked you can register it and pop a local SIM in.
Turkcell shops will need your passport to do this, the SIM is 29TL.

i use Turkcell never had a problem

Ditto re turkcell, I also registered an old uk mobile about 5 years ago, it got blocked within a week for some reason hence buying a cheapo over there. You will need your passport to purchase however.
