Malala Yousafza - Peace Prize
« on: October 10, 2014, 17:31:36 PM »
I have just listened to Malala Yousafza - the Pakistani teenager who was shot in the head by a Taliban terrorist for defending the rights of Muslim girls to have an education - making a speech in acceptance of the shared award of a Nobel Peace Prize. WOW! What a speech! I wish I had half that poise and articulateness, and a quarter that many important things to say, when I was 17. Very impressive.

She is indeed, one of the most erudite persons I have ever listened to, regardless of age, her perception of the problems that are facing the world is unbelievable for one so young. A future senior politician, I would venture to say .

Let's hope she puts her apparent talents to something a little more worthwhile than that.
