Maybe before you (potentially) name and shame you should make sure you have all your keys back, changed your locks and got all pertinent paperwork back from your current management company.  In addition, cancel any POA's you may have given them and made sure all your bills (that you may have paid for) are up to date.

Then you can shout their name from the parapets...

Thanks everyone for your input. So pleased that no one else had had this problem, had wondered if 'it happens'.
We will be spending a lot more time here this year so will be able to keep an eye on things, I saw the other bills, no problems with them.

Will be dealing with this!

It happens quite often.. It's just that a lot of people aren't on this forum.. Mostly will the locals "borrowing" water from outside taps or plugging into the electric..It isn't unknown for apartments to be rented out by management companies when the owners are in The UK..  Trust me it is not uncommon..
