My experience at the hospital yesterday
« on: May 13, 2018, 08:45:48 AM »
Nothing but good to report. I managed to saw a deep cut in my left hand yesterday whist trimming some trees. A quick trip to A&E, dealt with straight away, five stitches. a tetanus jab, pain killers and antibiotics, in and out within 45 minutes. Mind you, the 650 TL bill came as a bit of a shock but no complaints from me about the service and help I received. ;D

just a piece of advice - if you do need to visit A&E in an emergency and you are not a resident remember to take your passport with you. It will cut down on a lot of red tape and form filling.

Putting a claim in for the sake of £130 or so may not be the best idea. You might find it'll affect future policies by not far off that amount.
