Taking the Pi88
« on: December 12, 2018, 14:22:07 PM »
So! one month after the Guarantee ran out on our Arcelic Microwave it stopped working,,took it to the Arcelic repair depot on Gunlukbasi road quote to repair 300TL!!
Took it to our usual electric repair man, Ufuk  02526126184 ,  05334982283.  just along from Eren Spot in Fethiye, not the television guy,  in the opposite direction by 50 metres on the same side of the road
Showed him the problem "aagh a new something or other needed", we didn't even ask about the cost, left it with him, tele call next day Saturday,"all done" new something or other fitted, all working 130TL.
Guess where we won't be using for any electrical repairs in the future?

Always found Archelic goods reliable however we too would have got clobbered if we had undertaken a repair to our vac cleaner from the said main repairer.

We had an Arcelik microwave too which died well within the 12 month guarantee. I took it back to the really helpful (when we were buying it and a large fridge) Arcelik shop and they weren’t interested. They told me “servis, servis” and I said yes service. What they meant was nothing to do with us, it needs to go to the servis address and you are taking it.

To date, with over 50 years on my clock, the only microwave I have ever had that failed. Normally they refuse to die.
