Flights
« on: January 12, 2019, 19:15:35 PM »
Hi everyone happy new year,

Is it me or does flights seem expensive this year to return. The flight from Bristol in August is around £270 but the return flight is over £1000 do you think it will reduce???

I've just had a look at Thos Cook for flight out on 10th & return on the 24th. Price is £449 return. Seems about right to me. Easy jet for the same dates comes in at just £20 more.

Getting prices of around £375 return for those dates. Where are you getting those prices quoted from ?

JLS1 - look at Thomas Cook return flights - they are nowhere near £ 1,000.00

Flight from Glasgow to Dalaman 9July £402 return plus hold luggage.  Flight from Gatwick in same date £148 plus luggage.  It’s ok saying fly to Gatwick but people want to fly from their local airport.  Furthermore, there is NO justification in the price difference.  It’s the same if you book a package, Scots get shafted.

There's EVERY justification. They're not in business to keep a small minority happy.
