Still having this problem, when changing my email as i need to put my home email in and not work one.

and all my posts seem to be disappearing including ones from yonks ago[?][?], including this related post i did last month.

Just changed my email addy without any problem. Did it ask for your password when you went into your profile? If not then you might have a problem. When it accepts your neww addy it then sends you an email to follow a link.

A long long time ago i set up a profile under alison and everything crashed !?!? my email address was my private one, i now want to use my private email address, somehow when i change my email address in my profile it still says it exists, but i cannot see my original profile"alison" that disintegrated.

Roy, Dippey wont be able to change her email whilst there is the same email in her old profile, on this forum you cant share email addresses. unless she can find her prev login and delete the email not a snowballs, unless the admin can help.

Why not create a new email addy just for CB? Then you will be able to receive emails from those of us daft enough to want to send you one! LOL You should be able to have more than one addy through your provider.

Just had the same problem as Dipps. Wanted to change my e-mail address and got a message saying it was already in use! Cobblers!

Found it!!!! now all i have to do is try and swop the email addresses around.
