Regular power cuts in H now every day for the last four nights >:( three out of the four starting at 8.50pm each time >:( and last nights was a 5 hour one :o does anyone know whats causing this very annoying trend ?? or is this going to continue now every night for the forseeable future :-\

Could it be the strain of everyone using air con in hotels??

Way back in the day they used to turn the power off at night for a spell to conserve supply! Since the increase of residents/visitors I think they upgraded to carry a bigger load, might be outdated again because the place just keeps on growing!!

Might be growing, but visiting numbers here are shrinking... no , a posse of about 15 local business people left H for Fethiye this afternoon to discuss and find out what is happening with the respective `powers that be` . Also another theory we heard today is the major roadwork excavation, and congestion between H and Kaya the cause ???? If so , then why didnt the local turks undertake all that major excavation during the winter ???? doh ... turkish logic again :-)

It has been the same in Fethiye for the last three nights; fortunately only one during the evening the others after midnight. Each lasting about 10-15 minutes... very annoying during business hours with a decent generator at about 5000TL a throw :(
Would be interested to know the outcome of the trip to Fethiye by business owners :)

it might have happened in Hisaronu .. a five hour cut off .. but not in Ovacik.. yes it was on and off many times but only for twenty to thirty minutes at a time .. the tanoy anouncments today say that the whole of the Hisaronu/Ovacik will have power off for several hours from midnight tonight, wednesday night till thursday morning.

There were 6 times power cuts just after the England game started till 1 am.
After all the negative incidents naturally or human caused , I wonder how it can go on like this. Noise , constructions , bad roads , dust , rain , storm , water cuts , eathquake , tsunami rumors , cruelty towards animals ... have I forgotten something ?
If someone would try to sabotage the area , he could not manage to bring all these disadvantages together.
