The best shop in Hisaronu.
« on: September 11, 2015, 21:52:47 PM »
Anadolu el sanatlan.  Love this shop in Hisaronu.  Great Turkish Crafts, cushion covers, table clothes. Lighting, candle holders, table mats, boxes, ornaments etc.
I could spend ages in there, and usually do. I bought quite a few things today including a beautiful large glass bowl for the table, it was only 30 TL.    Everything is priced.  We never haggle and we always get a little present  Run by a sister and brother and has been in Hisaonu for 22 years.  I think it is now my favorite shop in the whole area.

As you go down the strip, Sunlover, it's on the left by D&P Perfumes.

Lovely shop - fell in love with some fabulous wine glasses which were very kindly bought for us as a gift by some of last year's visitors.   :)

Walking away from Azda and passing the water feature the Change Office and then the Taxi Rank in the old Garage continue up the road you will come to Umut Cafe and then Goldfinger Salon it is on the opposite side of the road next to a Jewellery Shop.   Agree with Wordbird, some lovely things in there.  I find I need to walk around a few times to take everything in. I also can never believe how cheap everything is for such lovely quality.

Also a personal favourite of mine too.

Even the jewellery is lovely and so beautifully wrapped, especially if you tell them that it is a gift.

I take all our visitors there for gifts.

And Jacqui is so right about the prices - never over priced and one of the best value shops around.

Here is the only photo I could find of the shop, 'Anadolu el sanatları'

Yes, Menthol,  I noted the name has an "ri" on the end,and not an "n" difficult to make  out over the shop.
Agree about the jewellery I took some back as gifts in June.  Also, the way they wrap is so good and they always ask us is it for Calis or Scotland.
We are thinking about a set of glasses as they are so beautiful.
I just found one link with a fracture of their stuff on the net, but none of the lovely glassware.

I have never seen any kilims, kayakebab. The shop is quite small.

No rugs, they would not have the room.  Prices start at 5TL for lovely little tealights in traditionally painted Turkish pottery holders.
