Hello Word Deluxe (Turkish) does look good at first glance, and was $5.99 yesterday, currently free TODAY ONLY.

Thanks Keith. I'll download and try this out. Cheers.

Oops
I should have said it was $4.99 not $5.99. But who cares, today it is free :D
-
Free today as well :D
Thanks Scunner

Probably free tomorrow too :D

Downloaded this for free and tried it out. I couldn't get it to do Turkish to English, but tried it out anyway to see how clear the audio translation was. For the word "chest" the audio was "t*t" that came out very loudly on a packed train LOL!!:D:D

For those of us with Nokia smartphones they also have a free translation dictionary. You can download any language you want from the list and convert from one to another. Make sure you save to your card though otherwise you will quickly fill your internal memory:

Ditto!
Some other useful apps are the 'brightlight' (great for those dark walks home in Turkey as your phone becomes a torch) and 'Fring'(anyone else with a smart phone can hold a video conversation with you as long as they have a front camera and wifi like what we have). Google them and you will find them . if not I'll point you in the right direction.
