Turkish Health Ministry is starting a new pilot program on Monday about the Government Hospitals.
The new process will be that we have to phone 182 to get the appointment for Government Hospitals. Internet, SMS or telephone appointments will no longer be available after 25th July, 2011.
I checked 182 today if there is anyone who speaks English to assist but there is no one...I will try again or will connect to Ministry to remind them how many expats in Turkey require help.
Please get some help from your turkish friends when you need any appointment with your Turkish ID (Kimlik) number until we sort out this problem.
p.s. you have only a day (Friday - tomorrow) to get an appointment by internet tonight if you have to see the doctor urgently.
Healthy days to everyone,
Neylan

Thanks Neylan a vital source for upto date info! :)

Thanks for your help Neylan.

Agreed very useful information but one observation: maybe it would be better moved to a more generic section as not everyone reads the Uzumlu section.
-
Ok I've moved this to the Health & Healthcare section.

I went and talked to director of Fethiye Government Hospital today.
They put the new button as "Online MHRS" on the left-top of web-side (http://www.fethiyedh.gov.tr/)...that will connect you directly to 182 online about the new system.
Everyone can register once and use the same password whenever need to get appointment after that.
Another good news: you can get an appointment(s) in long term which day/hour is available to you...they will also try to put the English version soon...
Fethiye G.Hospital is planning to build the new front office to service for expats only.
