Lots of building going on in North Cyprus at that time, wonder what its like now?
Mavi Ev the villa in the Army compound on a hill top where the Mafia organised the import of guns in the 1950s. The Mafia (Eoka) boss had his place for prayers in the corner of rooms with a mirror to make sure no one put a knife in his back. he would jump out of the bedroom window into the pool and who ever and which ever sex he touched first would be invited to his bedroom!! So the story goes. Great place to visit.
