Please can any one shed some light on health insurance. We dont qualify for sgk,so what to do or where to go for the best deal. What you have to have and whats optional.

I got a really good one and a good deal from Bermant Sigorta ( top floor behind big migros and Sahil Lokantasi the large yellow detached building) speak to Burcu she speaks good english. It covers medical treatment in Turkey 100%, everything from transpotation, day surgery to large ops, treatment in Europe up to 10,000 euro, also rehabilitation in the home and medical equipment 80%, also for men a prostrate cancer check, women a mammogram. Needed no previous medical history just passport and rental agreement/Tapu for proof of ID. Cost 1245tl in Aug for 12 months cover, although a friend recently applied and was quoted 100tl more because of a rise in prices, still think its good cover.
