When my wife is happy I'm happy :) when my wife is unhappy I've have big problems. : :) : :)
So to make an old man happy can anybody recommend an English speaking hairdresser in the Fethiye area please?
Murat who she has used for the last couple of years has left Goldfinger and we are unable to find him and she needs to get her hair done ASAP or sooner.

My Turkish friend in Fethiye recommended a really good hairdresser to me, who is in the one way street in Fethiye. She said she recenty found it and was so pleased and I have to say, her hair looked lovely. This was just before we left in October, so I did not get a chance to try the place. I will message her and get then name of the place and get back to you Don.

My Mrs used Best Kauffur opposite the Bim as you drive to Fethiye just before you turn right to the road leading to the otogar.
Its about 20M before the plastic cow on the corner outside a supermarket.
They speak good English and she said they were very reasonable.

S&C Kuafor, on the opposite side to where the dolmus for Oludeniz and Calis go from. It is upstairs, steps to the side. His name is Cihan, tel 0536 2401135. Better to make an appointment as he is often busy.

I agree, Cihan opposite the mosque is very good

Best Kuafor for me too. They are next door to the plastic cow in Tasyaka. Been going to them for about 10 years, since they where in the centre (now Dominos) & never had a problem

Hi Don,
The shop is called HERA and my friend gets the owner to do her hair she is called Baki
(Bar Khee). Her shop is just along the one way street in Fethiye after the entrance to Paspatur.
I know my friend says place is really cheap and she is always so pleased with her hair and the service.
My friend lives in London, but also has a place in Fethiye and she always looks very smart.

Many thanks for all the replies. We are now sorted with a couple of spares just in case. Once again many thanks.

Don, Murat can be found in Tip to Toe (or something very similarly named) in Hisaronu...

That's explains why the other members of Goldfinger staff kept shtum then! They'll never tell you if whoever has left has joined close competition. Silly because they are always rumbled though! CBF result again! ;D

In Kathy and her team's defence, Murat did not tell them he was leaving but instead quietly went about contacting clients whose numbers or Facebook details he had. The first Kathy knew about his leaving was when she read it on a Facebook thread when someone had recommended him and another person replied that he had left and gone mobile. So I feel they can't be blamed for not passing on his details or giving information on his whereabouts.
Tip to Toes has looked very shut the past few times I have driven past, but then one of Murat's issues was that he didn't want to work over winter so maybe that is why he has gone there!

Thanks for clearing that one up, there is always two sides to every story. This situation seems to happen a lot, all over the world. Happened recently to a Salon I use. A popular member of staff who has a big customer base decides to leave and take all his/her clients with them away from the business he/she has worked at.

A friend of mine had their hair cut by Murat just last Friday so they may be open on certain days only which is quite normal during the winter months.
-
Nichola, Tip to Toes was open this morning, we called in but Murat does not work there. Thanks for your input. Maureen is happy with the hairdresser she has found.
-
Sorry about that, I was 100% certain that my friend said he cut her hair there last Friday. Glad Maureen has found another hairdresser she is happy with though :)

Murat is now back at Goldfinger working one day a week, Mondays.
