Report saying two dead, seven injured in suicide bombing on Istiklal.

Now five confirmed dead and 20 injured. Two of them critical.

  Some Israeli's among the dead and injured, also two Irish,one German,one Iranian,one Icelandic on BBC News. Latest dead still five.

Turkish Government saying bomber was "militant" Mehmet Ozturk who is one of the five dead. He was not on any suspect list but is believed to have connections to Daesh. The "lone wolf" terrorist who is not on any police/secret service watch list is, of course, the worst nightmare of security forces anywhere in the world. This could just as easily have happened in London, Paris, Brussels, New York - any large city in the world. Not that this is any comfort to the people of Istanbul or relatives and friends of the dead and injured.
