Title: Mancero Kitchen
Post by: trainer on April 05, 2016, 11:03:53 AM
Had a fantastic meal here the other week the standard has always been consistent we had 2 x 3 course meals including fillet steak, 4 strongbow ciders (14tl each) 3 very large Bacardi and cokes  the bill £72 now it may seam a little high but for me the quality off the food and service was well worth it

I agree - for the quality, setting (inside or out), service etc it's worth every lira. You'd be paying a tad more on the waterfront in the UK, and much of Europe for the same quality of evening.

By way of comparison the present Mrs H and I went to the Red Poppy Restaurant in Strathpeffer on Saturday.

Two lovely main courses (1. venison 2. grilled pork), 2 beautiful sweets and two large glasses of white wine in lovely surroundings with attentive and pleasant staff.

£ 55.50.

So if you weren't lightweights and had chosen 4 Strongbows and 3 large Bacardi & Cokes instead of 1x wine each, about the same  :)

My favourite restaurant, where else in the world could you get a sea view setting with lovely food for such a low price
