Title: He's gone

Claudio Ranieri has got the boot.!!  What a difference a year makes.  Sums up the state of football for me

Shameful - he brought unimaginable glory to a club that were odds on for relegation, not champions. Had he just avoided relegation last season and this, he would still have a job.

Amazing man, I hope he goes home with a large bag of Leicester's compensation, and smiles when he thinks that he was the manager of the team who pulled off the most ridiculously unlikely feat in the history of football.

Oh, and I hope Leicester get relegated.

Still in the Champions League with some great European teams in the mix with them and some great money making opportunities ahead of them - a simple (well, maybe) one nil win will put them into the next round.

This is - as you say - shameful.

Earlier this month Ranieri had the club's full support - Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha (can't pronounce the b*****d's name but I could play it on a mouth organ) hang your head in bloody shame.

Can't think who they have lined up to replace Ranieri.

Ranieiri is a gentleman who has achieved extraordinary results.

He deserved to see the season out, at least.

It seems that Roberto Mancini is the Bookies favorite to take over.
