LOCAL DOC SHOPS

I need to see a Doctor (no jokes please!: :)) LOL:D

I dont have medical insurance so I will have to pay.  I need my leg looking at that has given me jip for the last 12 months - started off as bursitis but now is causing me problems espcially in the evenings around the ankle area so that I limp everywhere.  Not sure if its best to go to Esnaf Hospital to the foreign patient clinic or to just walk into one of those Doc Shops! Any suggestions? Any recommendations? :)

Of course if I was in the UK I would go and see my GP first.

KKOB suggest if you can't make make a sensible sugestion you refrain from making your obnoxious posts.

This lady is obviously very worried and your crass remarks have not contributed one little bit - you come over as a total a**hole.

Linda, if you are worried please go directly o either Esnaf or Letoon - my experience is that the medical treatment at both of these places is first class and not too expensive

We have found that Esnaf is not what people think. we have a doctor friend in the Devlet state hospital who will gladly see you.
My Father in law who also lives here went to Esnaf but was quoted thousands for an operation on his leg, we introduced him to our doctor friend who got him an appointment with a specialist in Antalya.
He had a vein transplant in his leg and is now on the road to full recovery. The cost.a third of the price at Esnaf and the hospital was better than a 5 star hotel and the level of care superb.
We have referred numerous people on this forum to the Devlet and I dont think anyone who has been there has any complaints.
If you get in touch with Karen at Kardz by Karen I am sure she will help.

There are several horror stories about Esnaf. Suggest you look elsewhere

Linda,
You could try the Guven Clinic for your initial consultation.
The Guven has an advert every week in the land of lights but their address is given as Dolgu Sahasi, Sea Side Road, behind Hello Cafe, 520 Sokak No7 Fethiye. Dr. Murat Sahin Phone 05323248078.
My sister-in-law went there recently and they were excellent, they can arrange for any further treatment you may need, and their prices are reasonable. I have one of their price lists and the charge for an examination is 30lira.
Hope this helps, and you are soon fit and well again.
All the best,
Gordon
