I haven't been around much and the "once popular" chat room is languishing.

What we need (perhaps) is to make it a date - rather than turn up on the off chance, which invariably means you are alone, how about we have 2 set chat times a week, added to the CBF events calendar?

I would propose:

Mondays from 8PM (GMT) 10pm (Turkey)
Thursdays from 8PM (GMT) 10pm (Turkey)

Thus skilfully avoiding Champions League nights  :)

What do you think?

Why should I listen to your opinion? I read with interest in the "Mail" topic that you are a bigamist  ;)

Liverpool need a few more points yet if they aspire to make the UEFA Cup :D

Im curious to know why this forum needs a chatroom? Seems the forum is like a chatroom anyway when you look at a lot of the posts. Thats not a bad thing I guess unless it gets too off topic. Its quite comical really because you often hear the mods say please keep on topic but they are the worst ones. :)I think its great as it is.

Maybe we should spend less time asking for subjects to remain on topic and more time slagging off strangers.

For your information, the volunteer moderator team will try to keep things on topic but this is a human forum with many members being friends (often meeting because of the existance of the forum) and not allowing a bit of banter would be rather clinical for a community.

It is topics where the whole subject is a chat or dialogue that are not CBF material - and these should be carried out on MSN, by email etc.

The chatroom allows 100% banter and helps keep it to a minimum on the forum itself.

Glad you find it 'comical', but in striking a balance between factual and community, I doubt you will find a better forum.

If that was directed at me Scunner I think you need a Humour bypass operation.
I think if you can read what I said.I said it was comical "as in funny comical.hehe joke. get it". Also that it was great as it is and  what makes this forum great. The point that the mods say "back on topic please" is comical when they also do the same as everyone else.
Chill out man  :)
