Adelphi Owners Excel in Crappiest Hotel Survey
« on: January 16, 2008, 08:56:49 AM »
The group that own my favourite hotel, the disgraceful Adelphi in Liverpool have managed to get no less than 3 of their hotels into TripAdvisor's "Worst Hotels in Britain" - based on ratings by users on their website.

Britannia Hotels establishments in Stockport, Birmingham and Manchester made the top 10. The Adelphi didn't quite make it, possibly because guests were all found dead and staff locked them in a wardrobe.

Britain's Worst:

1 Nanford Guest House, Oxford

2 Manor Court Hotel, Notting Hill, London

3 Britannia Hotel, Stockport

4 Europa Gatwick, Crawley

5 Whiteleaf Hotel, Inverness Terrace, London

6 Park Hotel, Belgrave Road, London

7 County Hotel, Carlisle

8 Britannia Hotel, Birmingham

9 Eden Plaza Hotel, South Kensington

10 Britannia Country House, Manchester
