I'm probably going to show myself up as a right muppet here, but I didn't know the following until I checked it today

All passport holders are required to have a minimum of three months validity on their passports when they leave Turkey.

We would have had a problem this year if we had not confirmed it so I hope this is of some use to others

You may be right Highlander, but I always thought it was 3 months on entry. My Mother had less than 3 months when we entered last year and nothing was said.

Mick...when they leave reference was from the consulate website.

The reason I posted was that I didn't even know it was on entry OR when leaving.

:)H, I thought it was 6 months, ours run out in June and being so impetuous when going to Calis, i think we would be better renewing shortly, that way if I get itchy feet there's nothing stopping me. ;)

Hope my post helped Laffa. For some reason I cannot quite work out, Mrs H says she's not bothered about renewing hers. Any idea why.
