Doesn't Sat restaurant look different before the double glazing was put in - I reckon Phil is about right, maybe early 1950's?

If you look closely you can just see Laffa inside, asking for "a bit more vodka in this one".

Too much spare time today got me on the internet and the picture's wonderful to see. I wanted to know more like where did the Railway go to. Went on Google and found some more pictures

3 towers look as though they are extacting something from the area where canal is now , and shipping it by rail. Is this where the sand went??

Chrome - from the chrome mine in calis to a ramp that loaded it on to ships, which is where the Sat is now.
