Turkish Mobile networks?
« on: March 22, 2008, 11:23:23 AM »
Happy Easter Everyone!...

I would like to purchase a mobile phone when i come to Turkey in April and I'm just wondering, is there a prefered network, or are they all much the same in terms of pay as you go prices and network coverage?
Also, can anyone suggest a good shop to purchase a phone from? Your experience and suggestions gratefully received. Many thanks,

Heather.  :)

Very many thanks for your post Ronzeus. I will certainly do that. In your experience, Would you say that Avea are better network providers than Turk cell for instance?

hi gt

do you know the name of the shop near the dolmis station in fethiye.  Because when I tried to purchase a turkish mobile in the street behind the duck pond going towards tuesday market.  Was told it would be 120 pounds.  thanks
