I am coming out middle of April and have found out that our Apartment Complex's pool will not be open. If I want to pay for all the chemicals and cleaning of the pool then the manager of the complex will open it for us at a cost of £200 quid!!!!!! I am bringing out my 2 year old grandaughter and family so does anyone no of any hotels that are open with a decent pool we can visit.

Hi Jackie, nearly all pools do not get filled till May, we too our going out in April but do not expect our pool to be ready, the water would be too cold, unless it was heated. Best bet would be the beach, as the sea is generally warnmer than the pools.

I am going out on the 11th April and I plan to be laying next to the hole- no water until May!:D

Hi Jackie
Surely if you are paying a site maintenance fee it is up to the site owners when the pool is cleaned and filled not the site manager.

Hi Jackie.. I own an apartment on selvi evler. The pool is never open untill late may, as for opening the pool early, I would check with the manager, as it is mostly Turkish reisidents on the complex, they tend not to use the pool untill the weather warms up a bit, this usually co-incides with the kids school holidays.

Our pool not ready until mid May, bit chilly until then. Think most place's are the same

Jackie. With Easter falling early this year and owners getting earlier than normal bookings, we considered opening our pool early. However after a vote it was rejected. I can tell you that the £200 that your site manager quoted IS NOT over the top.
AOK. You are correct in stating that it is up to the owners whether the pool is opened early and not the site manager. I will guarantee that all the owners will not be happy to pay extra for the benefit of one. Especially if several owners are Turkish.
