Silver Shops in Fethiye

AGAIN i have left things until the last minute and i need to find a present and i am in the middle of fethiye and need to go out on my lunch break!

There are 2 in Pasputur and one on the road up to the Fish Market opposite Carrefour.

If you know where Club Bananas is - go left out of the club and then first left - there is a good silver shop at the end of that street (right in front of you). My wife always buys there and the girls in there will give you discount. Everything is sold by weight. Watch the older guy though - he always prices things up a bit so you need to barter with him.

How about trying Edi- before the bridge or Bellisima after the bridge- both in Calis and both do great stuff! Not as far to schleppe as Fethiye Tori!

Yes - the one in Calis just before the bridge (sea side) is also very good. Maggie bought her friend a nice present for her birthday from there. Lots nearer than Fethiye as well.

  I always buy my silver bits from Gerbus, who does the change opposite Marias, last time I priced the same thing in Fethiye and it was more expensive.

I found a wonderful silver shop called "Silverado" just next to the Fethye mosque. Very friendly and helpful shop assitant and speaks a passable English too.

If you go to the market square and opposite the 'DEEP BLUE BAR' is a silver shop called 'ISTANBUL SILVER' the owner is called 'NECMI' Pronounced 'NESHME'.

I always get my silver cuflinks etc from him as he is top quality and always give me a better price than anyone else.

He will let you look without being in your face, if you do go please say "hi" from Peter & Michelle.
