I am a Liverpool supporter but can't for the life in me understand what king kenny saw in Andy Carroll for 35 big ones. I suppose someone will tell me that he will come good but I can't see it myself

Perhaps - but makes more sense than what he saw in Charlie Adam for £7 million!

Oh well, he's made a start tonight, mixed feelings about him here, some are saying he's not getting the service. and others that he's just crap, its a case of suck it and see,but maybe KK is thinking the same and thats why he was on the ench tonight, ans Stoop, there are the same mixed feelings about Torres making a return, but thats footall for you.

But I'd rather pay £30 million for Carroll, or £7 million for Adam before paying £18 million for Downing - a winger who can't take people on (and end up with the ball still), or cross a ball into an area where a team mate is waiting - more often than not into the crowd...
